I loved many, but on top of my head I remember 2 titles: "fee beirut" and "shajarat al fol".

I won't agree with the rest of my fellow bloggers. I think you should follow your intuition your inspiration and not chose like this. This is my opinion.

 

although i chose, but i think u should write something new, and not repeat urself. unless u r collecting ur post in a book, this is another issue and i would re-mention the three posts

All your writings are different and wonderful ya Eve. Add to that the posting with images too. Your choice of the images and your comments on them are also worthy to be displayed in your book.
Did you pick the title of the book yet?

I am captivated and amazed by your blog. have spent the last hour (and some more) reading your posts, starting from your very first. your arabic writings are a jewel. smooth flow of words and ideas. images that found an echo in my poorly expressive heart. please get them published. or better, publish more. i know i can't wait to read more from you. and i feel guilty that i haven't read you before.
talents like you, thinkers like you, writers like you, make me proud to be Lebanese, to be Arab.

الفصل لا يتعدى الصفحتان و الفصول لا يربطها أى خط درامى و لا يجمع بينها أى شىء مشترك
و هو يرصد فى كل فصل مظهر جمالى .. أو مشهد عابر روتينى من الحياه اليوميه .. أو حاله مزاجيه .. أو فكره شارده فى ذهنه
فهو يأخد صور و لكن بدون كاميرا ... فقط بكلمات منمقه و منسقه بعنايه يدعمها خيال خصب و قاعدة لغويات و مرادفات غزيره لا تنضب و حلول غير تقليديه للأزمات و المآزق الأدبيه التى يمكن أن تواجه كاتب هذا النوع من الفنون الأدبيه و - أهم حاجه - الكثير من الحب الذى تشعرين انه أنفقه فى كتابة هذه السطور ... فيكون هو بمثابة الماتريكس الذى يجمع كل هذه المكونات سوياُ ليشكلوا فى النهايه منظومه جميله تلهم القاريء و تضعه فى حاله من النشوه و سمو الروح و انفصالها و لو للحظات قليله عن الواقع الرتيب النمطى
و ربما يكون هذا الحب هو الخط الدرامى أو النقطه المشتركه بين كل الحواديت أو الفصول

أكثر تدويناتك زيارة - برأيي - هي تلك التي تتحدث عن لبنان (بطبيعة الحال)، لكن أصدق تدويناتك على الإطلاق - برده برأيي الشخصي - تلك التي تصفين بها والدك .. مرة تدوينة قديمة كنتي حاطة صورته وهوا نايم على ضهره في حديقة ما وانتي كنت صغيرة، وأخرى شيء أشبه بمناجاة بينك وبينه بعد مرور السنين الطوال على رحيله وبقاء الذكرى!

 

لا لا لا دى عايزه تفكير يا ايفو ادينى اسبوع كده انقى احلى 3 بوستات فى كــــــــــــــــــل الحاجات الحلوه دى :)

Eve, I was waiting to comment until I have read everything, but I don't think I'll be able to do it soon enough. However, I am using others' comments as a "recommended" guide of what that I've missed, so I can read it, and what jewels to reread.

Bas bil moukhtasar, I am just so happy that you've finally decided to take yourself seriously and try to publish a book! You really should (as I think I've told you several times before, if only in my head).

Just don't lose momentum. I tried doing that about a year ago, and then I let it go, and now I have more than 3 years worth of material to go through... I know choosing is the most difficult part, but the comments here should be helpful.

I can't wait to see your words in print! The first copy I'll buy would be for my mother. In any case, iza tkaslanteh mitleh, I'm planning on just printing all the posts that were mentioned here for her.

Actually, that would be a great idea! To compile links to all the posts mentioned here in one post called "Best of Eve!" (for lazy asses like me to catch up).

I really wish you the best of luck, dear, and please keep us posted on your progress!
