Ya 7ello dakhlak bkhaf, bkhaf inni day3ak, ya 7ello... ( Fairuz) And how inviting was his voice eve? Don't you love how his voice sounds when he's half asleep? Was that one of the reasons for you pausing? :)
All I ever wanted when I used to do this is to hear his voice in the morning and to be the first to say "Saba7o Ya 7elo" ... unfortunately; all he wanted was a daily wake-up call to make sure he is not late for work!
Mar, his voice... it's definitely one of the reasons ;) btw, I love this song! and it's another fairuz that's been on my mind this monday: يا حلو، يا حلو، يا قمر يا ندي على غصن الشّجر
Jamil, eh walla, how could he not jump out of his bed? what a disgrace! well, hurray for your blog! hang in there buddy!
Hashem, hmmmm.. khalliha mastoura ;) btw, check your mail.
Ghada, كنت خايفة يكون في تعابير لبنانية مش مفهومة، بس طمنتيني. على رأي كاظم، صباحك سكّر :)
The sixth sense, yes3ed sabahak :)
Nour, hehe... cuteness is the eye of the beholder ;)
[the phone rings..] ooof, awake by now? there must be something wrong... ... ... ... ... [saying nothing much...] well, there should still be more meaning in this nothing much than a normally meaning conversation, i mean it is 07.00 sunday morning.. ghalaza?? definitely not!!
as much as one cares, as much as he would sooner realize the need behind the curtain...
[don't wanna spend the day alone...!!!!] get up!!!!!!! akid fi chi!
it took me long time to comment.. although i read it over and over.. i was a little reluctant to comment since i'll give a privilage for a word over another.. lebanese-accent posts u have are really amazing.. u can sense the poetry within but... without exaggorating. you know ,inspite of it's sensitivity, how to keep it a normal everyday talking.. and believe that's not easy.. yalla let's choose a word.. i loved "nattoufeh" minnik. My sister taught me some word she uses called "ashya2at" أشياءات she uses it when refering to things she cannot specify or can't rememeber..or for just bunch of different things.. I don't know if u use it.. :P
I have something to say about this particluar subject ...
It is so harmonious for a man to wake up by the voice of his beloved. Almost divine. Especially if she has a nice voice and if he is a morning person.
But, and very unfortunately, that would also make him very predictable in her eyes, thus reducing her interest level ... Predictable no good!
I would rather keep this nice feeling to myself - I wouldn't let her know how much I loved her waking me up :>p. I will, however, find other ways to reward her
