Combat

There is something in the water. It makes the natives radiate with an odd glow. Why do we systematically ignore and deny these signs of the apocolypse? Why do we sit idly by and try to seek normalcy when it is merely an opiate of the mind. Why do we permit the madness? Take action now! Join the growing movement that strives to uncloak the mysteries that plague the global psyche!!! Show your support by encircling your wrists with orange marker to gain awareness. We will be heard and the world will know our cause! Learn more about the madness at www.freewebs.com/orangewrists.

just for the record, there is no connection, whatsoever, between the word "orange" I wrote up there, and your weird association, sect or cult... that, of course, presuming you have read my post!

Alright, so I get this as a translation for the first sentence.

"As crimson as an orange rotten one at the far end of a basket, its lips themselves car- tear."

Something has got to be wrong here. Eve, I know this may be a little bit of a hassle, but can you please just give me the gist of the post. I love what you have to say :-( Pweeze for the culturally impaired Saudi girl!?

    Farooha,
you, of all people, should know that automatic translation is lame and stupid :-) wanna hear an example? I told the computer once to translate "i am beautiful" into Arabic. the result was:
    ha!
Anyway, the general idea is about a person on a quest. I hate to explain it from my point of view, because I'd like to see how does every person see it. Sometimes, we just let our feelings out, and we tend to disfigure them by explanation. I hope the couple of words I used (person, quest) were enough :-)

Oh hehehe, Prof. Humaidan, if you'd see me right now you'd kick my butt! Prof. Humaidan teaches me automatic translation. How it's used the correct way. He'd probably hate me right now!I totally abused it.. woopsy ... soweee.

(flashes innocent smile in attempt to cover for stupid mistake)

I thought I'd get a word or two. Ahh who am I kidding, I thought that since French and English were pretty close (though one being Germanic and the other being Latin) I don't know I just assumed that since they were both Indo-European I guess that'd be ok.. ahhh Farooha again is attempting to justify a stupid mistake she'd made. I will hereby shut up I promise :-)
As for your topic, although a bit smudgy, it seems really deep. Eve (*whining*) I want to learn French!! So many languages so, little time! I blame my parents!
PS: I did good on a na7u exam today.. Yippeeeee!

Go Farooha! Good luck with all ur exams as well!
There are so many languages I wish I had the time to learn. but 3 are good enough for me now. I prefer to strenghten my knowledge in these languages instead of acquiring a fourth one, without mastering it.
